Susan M. Berry
Susan has over 45 years of experience in the real estate, escrow and banking industries, as well as foreclosure experience with a local law firm, and has worked in the escrow industry in Washington since 1991. During college, she worked as a licensed Realtor. After college, she worked in California as an escrow officer for 5 years, before returning to her home state.
Susan started Des Moines Escrow Inc in 1995. She is a current member of the Washington Escrow Committee and a former member of the Board of Directors for the EAW (Escrow Association of Washington). Susan enjoys running a small, independent escrow company, and the long-time friendships with clients that it has helped her build. In her rare free time, Susan likes to spend time with her husband and two sons, and also enjoys hiking, kayaking, boating, and renewing her energy by being out in nature.
Tina M. Burget
Tina has been in the real estate industry for 28 years and has worked in both title and escrow. She enjoys assisting people through the closing process from set up of the file to recording numbers for closing. Helping to have a smooth and successful transaction closing is always her number one priority. Clearing a challenging and sometimes messy title is one of the aspects of the process that she relishes, and is always happy to help in any way she can.
She has worked for Des Moines Escrow Inc since it opened in 1995. Tina is a native Washingtonian and she takes advantage of most everything that the great Pacific Northwest has to offer. Patrick L. Crawford (1929-2021)
Patrick worked for Des Moines Escrow as a Limited Practice Officer, Escrow Officer and Notary Public, from 2005 until 2021. He spent his childhood in Sunnyside, graduating from the K-12 one-room schoolhouse, the Waneta School, where he really did walk miles through the snow to get to school. He was a graduate of Central Washington University, and later earned a Master’s degree from the University of Washington. He served in the Marine Corps from 1946 to 1952 on active duty, and subsequently six more years in the USMCR. Patrick was a Real Estate managing broker licensee from 1966 until his passing, and a Real Estate Educator for over 40 years. For 15 years, he managed his company specializing in manufactured home communities, and was a licensed Realtor in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. Concurrently with his real estate activity, he was a math teacher in the Edmonds School District from 1958 to 1987, also serving as a wrestling coach and supervisor of the Horse Club at Lynnwood Junior High. He lived in Des Moines with his wife, Donna.
